Dr. Westra is awesome! He is completely professional and full of knowledge in his field. Dr. Westra explains everything fully and takes the time to answer all questions so patients can feel confident they have the BEST!!! Dr. Westra has done my neck and back surgery, my husbands two neck surgeries and his mom’s surgery, so yes, we completely trust him and recommend him highly!!

Dr. Westra is a great doctor. He reviews my case before my appointments. He takes time to listen to me and discuss my problems and options for me.
I really like he come to get me and then walks me out.

Came to Dr. Westra with a badly herniated disk. Office staff was very helpful and professional. Dr. Westra went over my MRI, explaining in easily understandable terms, what he could see and what his diagnosis was. Under no pressure and fully informed every step of the way, I underwent surgery for what was an extremely painful situation. Post surgery followup was excellent with phonecalls and checkups. They organised all PT and after a couple of months I was almost back to normal, relatively pain free. Now, 7 months later I am performing all duties with ease and back into major hiking, pain free. I am incredibly happy and fully satisfied with the way this all eventuated. I would unconditionally and without hesitation, refer Dr. Westra and his staff in regards to neurosurgical procedures. I am forever grateful for my second chance!!

Procedure went as expected. Felt as though I’d been run over by a train, I guess that is to be expected as it’s major surgery. No complications, healing well. Continuing to improve.

Dr. Westra is an incredible neurosurgeon! His staff is wonderful!!! I am extremely happy that Dr. Westra did my back surgery approx. 8 months ago!!!! Highly recommend this doctor and staff!!

Dr Westra is extremely thorough, explaining all decisions and going over the scans in his office. There is almost no waiting time and his office staff is friendly and organized. We feel lucky to have him as our neurosurgeon!

Dr. Westra is a great Neurosurgeon! I suffered from severe sciatica for many years. I had a spinal fusion in April 2024 and the sciatic nerve flare ups and attacks have nearly diminished. Dr. Westra is very thorough, professional and I highly recommend him!

First time I met Dr. Westra. Very informative consultation. He took the time to go over some of my images and explained in layman’s terms what they showed. Made a solid recommendation which I agreed with.
